Why I built Giftlo
Giftlo started from a familiar problem: it's surprisingly hard to remember what the people you care about actually want, and just as hard to tell someone what you want without it feeling awkward to ask. Gift cards are the easy way out, but they're rarely the gift anyone was hoping for.
I built Giftlo to fix that directly — a place to keep a running wishlist, share it with the people who'd actually buy you something, and get a nudge before a birthday instead of finding out the day of. It's a small, personal project rather than a large company, which means changes ship fast and feedback goes straight to me.
What Giftlo is not
Giftlo isn't trying to replace thoughtfulness with automation. The wishlist and reminders are there so the thought that counts doesn't get lost to a busy schedule.
